sdobart
Im running 10.4.8. Tried to install Adium, and Firefox. Both of the .dmg's mount fine, and I get the "Drag this icon to your applications folder to install". I've done that. When you click on either icon, nothing happens. I have one of the icons in my dock. It throbs when you click on it, but then nothing happens. Ideas? asap18
Try going to the app in your apps folder, right click, show package contents, go into Contents/Mac OS. Then right click and click "open with terminal" Post the output. sdobart
I'm running a hackintosh. Last login: Thu Feb 1 14:11:17 on console Welcome to Darwin! /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox; exit tiger-x86:~ curtis$ /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox; exit /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/run-mozilla.sh: line 166: /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin: Bad executable (or shared library) logout [Process completed] Edit to give you more details: Im running a Dual Core AMD Opteron 165 (Socket 939) Mobo is a DFI LanParty Ultra-D OSX 10.4.8 is on a secondary harddrive. I used the tiger-x86-flat.img and DD to copy it to this drive. (deadmoo) I have removed the TPMACPI.kext to improve performance. Applications still didnt run, so I installed a new kernel that allows SSE3 to work, since its disabled in deadmoo's image. Applications are still not running. asap18
you cant use deadmoo images or 10.4.1 kernel anymore, apple made it so you cant run apps. Find the jas 10.4.8 sse2/sse3 install disc and use that.
