kalabaw Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I have successfully installed OS X86 Jas 10.4.8 + PPF1 on my jurassic system. After the restart, however, was a kernel panic. I boot in safe mode (-x) and moved the NVDANV**Hal.kext out of the extensions folder and was able to boot into the GUI. These are my questions, direct ones 1. I want to use OS X mainly to play some music and videos. But since Macvidia drivers does not supprot hardware acceleration, my videocard is an older one, an Nvidia Geforce2 MX400, I want to know if I can get full hardware acceleration with this card in OS X86 using either Titan or Natit. If yes, please point me to the right directions. 2. Is hardware acceleration related to QE/CI? Thanks. Thanks. hi kalabaw don't expect to get QE or CI working on that card, i've been trying for months to get my MX440 without success. our only real option is to but a FX5500 PCI and use Natit or Titan after upgrading to 8.8.1.
