JSn1™
Hi. I have an issue installing OSX86 10.4.8. First, these are my computer specs: Gateway CX2724 Intel Centrino (Core) Duo 1.6 GHZ 1 GB RAM 100 GB HD INTEL GMA950 INTEL 3945 WIRELESS SIGMATEL 9250 First, I installed OSX86 10.4.6, it worked fine, then I upgraded to 10.4.7, both are Jas. They were very stable, they worked fine. Now, I'm installing 10.4.8 (downloaded it like in november) from JAS, but when I install it, first I do not see anything, then I connect a monitor, and install it, but then, when the installation finishes, when the syste boot, it says: Invalid Operating System, I checked that everything was well set, Primary partition, Active, boot, but no success. Also, I think there is something strange, cause when I select the packages to install, There appear semthex and another, both say SSE3, but in the description it says semthex for SSE3 and the other one for SSE2, my CPU is SSE3, so for now i'm just selecting Semthex, should I install the other one? thestevo
hmmm... I'd say get the newest one by JaS. It has more goodies included; newer kernel, GMA 950 support, etc... Haven't heard Invalid Operating System before. Stephen Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39931-1048-installation/#findComment-288849 Share on other sites
