Mac OS X as 'default boot' using Boot Camp

Hello,

I've been googling and searching this forum for about an hour now and I haven't gotten across anything that helps me with my problem. I might be using the wrong words to describe this issue but this seems a place well fit to ask this question. I'm a fairly newbie Mac user since I have been using my C2D Macbook Pro for about 2 weeks now. I've been trying out a lot of stuff and I'm a fast learner but don't expect me to know all there is to it :thumbsup_anim:

Today I have installed WinXP Pro using Boot Camp. However everything works completely fine, whenever I randomly boot/reboot my Macbook Windows is the operating system to boot up as the default. So, unless I hold <alt> on startup, Windows will boot. Ofcourse I have bought a Mac for a reason and I want OS X to be the operating system to startup whenever I randomly startup my Macbook.

I've been using 'default boot' in my searching terms to find anything about this problem, but that hasn't gotten me too far up till now. I thank you for all your effort. I have come across a website that suggests that holding <F8> on startup would give me some kind of boot menu for OS X, but trying that out resulted in no actions at all and just a plain boot of WinXP.

Seems to work perfectly! :P

It also still works after having booted WinXP and then rebooting. So for the looks of it: problem solved. Never figured that would be the solution since in the Startup Disk window it doesn't say anywhere which disk is set as default.

Anyway, thank you. :)
