I eventually found a fix which was download the 10.4.5 update from apple.com and use pacifist to pull out the IO80211Family.kext file and just drop it into the /System/Library/Extensions folder and that worked out great. I am posting the kext file since I had so many issues finding it i figured im not the only one who did. so here it is after you drop this file into the folder you will wanna go to terminal and type cd /System/Library/Extensions sudo chown -R root:wheel IO80211Family.kext then reboot and the baseball diamond should appear. Hope this works for all you like it did for me. There's a IO80211Family but not IO80211Family.kext. Where is it?
