MacOSMatt
update your bios, this is after installation isnt it? use latest version Hirens boot cd (google to download it) and make your drive bootable, that might make it boot. Or in windows, with boot magic or something, format the drive to ntsc and when installing osx itl see it all the same, change it to HFS+ in disc utility and try again (with updated bios or its pointless) you could even try it on an ext hdd, or a different internal hdd. when installing, take out everything you dont need (flash cards, bluetooth adapter etc) just have the basics, moniter mouse and keyboard even disconnect network and modem, see if theres any change. darkstar2k77
Hi guys. I experienced the same problem as stulle during installation with JaS 10.4.8 DVD AMD AND INTEL SSE2 AND SSE3. I've tried installation with a fresh blank drive, even using 10.4.4 dvd to partition the HDD. My hardware is P4 2.4ghz Northwood, i865 motherboard. Currently working with 10.4.6 Any help would be appreciated.

Or in a USB enclosure. But it won't install or see your SATA drives if you install from an IDE DVD-ROM. Great ain't it? so buy yourself an IDE-Sata adaptor I guess.
