A30Guy Posted January 22, 2007 Share Posted January 22, 2007 Thanks for reading this. I have just used the Jas 10.4.8 Upgrade file to update from 10.4.5. Everything seems to have gone well except for two annoying problems. The first one is with Software Update. It runs OK, but when the list of updates is displayed it stays on the screen for about a second and then disappears again, which makes it impossible to apply an update. The second problem occurs when opening a Help reference in an application (Finder, iTunes etc) and is similar to the first. The Help screen is generated, but again it only stays on the screen for a second or so before it disappears. Any help (or referral to another thread) is appreciated. Hardware specs: Intel P4 2.8 GHz, 1GB RAM, Asrock 775Dual-915GL Motherboard.
