WhiteNoiseEthan
Hey all, The most recent Jas seed is miraculous. Full support for all my hardware! But font rendering looks like {censored}e, maybe an AA problem. I've searched the forums to no avail. I'm sure I'm not the only one, and any help on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks and cheers, ethan Edited January 18, 2007 by WhiteNoiseEthan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39056-everything-supported-but-ugly-ass-font-render-pic-inside/ Share on other sites
Prawker
What are you talking about? The font in that screen shot looks perfectly smooth and normal. WhiteNoiseEthan
Thanks for the response PRock. Perhaps you're right, but there is a distinct difference between the font appearence on my box and my 1st rev G4 iBook. Would running an LCD monitor at a non-native resultion result in a distinct quality loss? nagal
Would running an LCD monitor at a non-native resultion result in a distinct quality loss? Yes. Also there is a way to set the font smoothing but I cant remember how and I am at work so no access to a Mac. Its in the System Preferences somewhere, I think under display. Prawker
Yes, the type of monitor does make a diffrence, if you look under "Apperance" in System Pref's. at th bottom will be a setting for font smoothing.
