Jhollman Posted January 17, 2007 Share Posted January 17, 2007 Hi, recently i instaled my new OS X 10.5 Tiger in my PC Pentiun 4 1.7 Ghz, 512 SDRam, GeForce 6200. whit doble booting XP-OSX, works perfectly. Exept for a few problems whit the audio Card (Via AC97) only sound the left speaker, than im working on it yet. An the Geforce, i downloaded the macvidia drivers and works fine put whiout Quartz extreme and core image. I will try whit the Titan tonight and i let you know... My question is... How can i upgrade my kernel 10.5 to 10.8???, i'm a beginer in this so i realy need help about, Thanks. PS: Any help with my Geforce 6200 will welcome! En otras cosas, ayer finalmente pude hacer andar a full el sonido (Via AC'97), antes solo me sonaba por un Speaker (Mono). Pero sigo con ganas de que me funcione mi tarjeta grafica Geforce 6200, con QE/CI activado. Alguien me dijo que solo funcionaba si tenia el kerbel 10.8 por eso de mi pregunta anterior. Es eso cierto?? o hay alguna otra manera?? Probe con el macvidia y me anda la Geforce pero sin QE/CI. Prove con el Titan y termine con una pantalla en negro (en relaidad fue culpa mia ya que no encontre una buena guia de instalacion e hice cualquier cosa). Que opinas tu MacGirl?, tengo esperanza? Good luck getting full stereo audio. You might want to try the Titan drivers for full GeForce 6200 support, but I don't know much about that card. Jhollman Posted January 22, 2007 Author Share Posted January 22, 2007 (English Only then) Thanks FrizBot, I'll Try the Titan as soon i got a propper maner to update the kernel to 10.8, i was told that's the only way to make QE/CI work whith my card. I still looking for a easy guide and files to update my kernel from 10.5 to 10.8 or later. If any one knows how, will be great!!.
