frizbot
Post your motherboard model. Under Windows, perhaps you can find the USB-related hardware (chip models etc) in the Device Manager. You have the AMD Sempron. Try the HCLs at http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page before replying, using the information you have. frizbot
KV-81- http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/techsp...1&model=291 KV-80- http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/techsp...1&model=238 You'll need to check for USB information as these pages don't give any. Check your BIOS and under other operating systems to make sure USB works. frizbot
You may not get USB working for now. If you can find details on your USB controller, maybe others have had the same problem and solved it. AIDA32 might help if you don't have Windows available. Go to My Computer Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> USB Controllers and try to find the USB controller model. The vendor ID and device ID might be known on Google. I couldn't find what USB controller your motherboard has, but the information could be posted on the internet somewhere if you look hard enough. You could also try buying a cheap USB PCI card. TheSheik
Hi I dont know if you fix your USB problem. I was in the same situation and made a reinstall and unchek the "JaS USB Fix " in the aditional packages section. (you must choose the custom install) Now I have full USB support using a 945PVS Mobo and 10.4.8 JaS Intel Only Edited January 23, 2007 by TheSheik
