ckeren
Hi, I can't get my video card to work with 10.4.8(from Jas DVD). Linux's lspci reports my video card like this: VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family Graphics Controller (rev 04) For starters, there was no AppleIntel915* or AppleIntelIntegratedGraphics* in my extensions folder . So I installed the ones from the Jas DVD(AppleIntel915 and AppleIntelFramebuffer). AppleIntel915 is completely useless for me(removing it or leaving it there has no difference). AppleIntelFramebuffer works(I can switch resolution) but Quartz Extreme doesn't work which makes animations slow and clunky. Also, fonts doesn't look good (I have a 17" LCD). They are all blurry and there seems to be a lot of subsixel bleeding. Any ideas? seskanda
Is there a link get the JaS GMA900 pkg from 4.7 separately? (i.e. withOUT downloading the whole 4.7 ISO) Where do i download the 'official' 4.8 AppleIntelFramebuffer from? Also, where is the Extensions disabled folder at? Last, but NOT least, will all this let me run PPC OpenGL apps/video?
