evopanop
Hey everyone... I got the installer to run on my Dell Dimensions 4400, but now that it's installed and has restarted it just comes up with "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" Any idea what this means? How can I get this thing working? Also, I installed from the JaS 10.4.8 DVD that contains both the Intel and AMD versions... if that helps any. evopanop
Also, if I press F8 the only thing it shows is "hd(128,0) Ethernet PXE Client" under startup volumes. Does this mean that the install is not detecting my HDD? Help me out here, guys. I'm a total n00b to this stuff, lol. Heck, I don't even know how to go about changing kexts even if I wanted to. scoutme
I have the same on my custom p5b-deluxe/core2 pc, but since the board has been quoted as supported, I'm starting to think the problem is the optical drive. Can't you try another dvd drive? evopanop
Not really... cuz I don't have another one available, lol. So, the problem that I'm having then is because of the DVD drive? Most likely? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38710-jas-osx-1048-is-not-working-on-my-dell-dimension-4400/#findComment-276476 Share on other sites
