hixatchi Posted January 14, 2007 Share Posted January 14, 2007 (edited) i recently downloaded jas 10.4.8 ppf v1 patched dvd, installation went fine installed all the intel and ati patches that i need, but when it reboots, it comes to a black screen with nothing but a blinking cursor and i can't even press any buttons or do anything to even get into the os. my hardware is intel e6300 asus p5w dh 2 gb ocz ram wd 5000ks ati x1900xtx any ideas on how to rectify the problem? thanks. hixatchi Posted January 15, 2007 Author Share Posted January 15, 2007 i can confirm this new ppf from defiant does fix the problem of the blinking cursor where u cannot press anything anyone who has this problem use the ppf patch! only works on jas 10.4.8 with ppf version 1 patch iso. cheers! just one quick question though do the titan or natit driveres work with the ATI X1900XTX card cuz when i get to osx it keeps freezing after i do anything graphic intensive like minimizing a window the system will freeze midway in the animation always happens.
