Arma
Hey, I got JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3 and patched it with JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSe2.SSe3.v1p as recommened on Demonoid. The problem I have is that no hard drives show up when the installer asks you to select where to install. I have two hardrives - my main SATA one for windows and a secondary IDE for MAC. If I go into the disk utility and try and format the drive I get a input/output error so mounting is not possible. Also I cannot use my keyboard or mouse. Although USB ones work. But that's understandable as Macs do not have PS/2 Thanks in advance Arma Edited January 13, 2007 by Arma Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38520-installation-hardrive-wont-mount/ Share on other sites
supernovafan
If possible try installing OS X to a USB drive, that will give you a chance to modify the appropriate kext for your drive controller. Then you can copy the entire operating system from the USB drive to the appropriate drive. I like to work this way because I can always back up OS X from one drive to another and not have to worry about messing something up. Good luck.
