I want to install some games but they all need to be installed from a CD / DVD drive and I certainly don't want to burn disks I won't most probably need. Also any images made by "Toast" can be mounted by Disk Utility or Toast. You are right but some games REQUIRE to be installed from a CD/DVD media, not from the mounted images. For example Postal 2 pops a message saying "Please insert the Postal CD into the cd drive" when I try to install it from the mounted image. Is there a way to create a virtual CD drive like in Windows so that I can mount it there and install it/play it without wasting my CDs ? That's exactly what mounting a DMG or other disc image does. But just like in Windows, there are some things that just refuse to work without an original CD, unless you can find a crack for it.
