I have installed Mac OSX tiger 10.4.1 on my pc and when it tries to start up it freezes and reboots the machene.

So i have got a 10.4.8 dvd now and it starts then it says some text like 1234 buffer somethin somethin of54874

and sticks there my pc specs are

 

Dell Latitude 1.12GHZ laptop

Nvidia 32mbv card

 

and a

Home bulit Intel 1.6GHz

630mb ram

30GB hdd x2

Runs windows fine

 

I know how to duelboot a {censored} load of oses. so i dont need help wit that

i will post a screenie asap

What DVD did you download to install it? 10.4.1 is old and I don't even remember if it has a patched dvd. I joined at 10.4.4.

Also check if your system is compatable in the wiki.

 

Also consider downloading at least 10.4.6 or 10.4.7. Possible even the newer 10.4.8. You might have better luck with them.

that error is the 10.4.8 patched before it even got to the gui

 

put in 10.4.8 dvd asks for install

press enter

werid message(pic)

 

but when i installed 10.4.1 it installed fully

but when i went to run it in safemode or not it would reboot the pc
