OS X on PC??? how is this possible i thought? how well will it work for Protools to record with??? I'm brand new to this new world, and i would love to run OS X on my PC! But will it support Protools LE, HD 6.7, 7.1? Is it stable? or at least more stable than windows XP??? and how can make my new PC run OS X? is it easy Help my out my Macintosh friends! safnight Posted January 14, 2007 Share Posted January 14, 2007 I use PRo tools HD With just Jas version 1O.4.7 It workds fine. I wanted a lot of time update to 10 4 8 With no success. For my UAD CArd Pro tools crashed when it launch ( DSI) And i try to find my video card's drivers ( ATI X 300 ) No succes to I've made a ghost with my pro tools 7 2 3 running well. Considering the cost of a HD-rig, it doesn't matter at all what computer you are using. So just stick to what Digi supports, and you will be much happier, trust me.. I have a hard time believing this, really. Pics please. How does one spend 4-5 digits on an audio rig to run on an "unstable" (dont flame me please, but im sure some know what im getting at) mac clone? I hate PT In PC All work fine. PT start more fastely than my XP. I had no crash.
