I've been trying everything to get my ethernet card working. It's a Broadcom BCM5789 - dev id 169d.

I've tried using nisa's and humanmx's drivers, but I get the same error with both, as do some other users of the forum:

"dmesg | grep BCM" showed:

AppleBCM5751Ethernet: 0 0 Start - mapping device memory failed

Any ideas? If I can't get it working, I'll just have to revert to using Ubuntu.

Thanks,

Adam

yes we know that, but there's really a lot of us using this card, and ethernet is something basic to be really able to use your hackintosh, also I don't think the solution will be too hard to find (but what do I know... :s) so I'm hoping someone who knows this stuff would spend some time in figuring out how we will get this device to work on our beloved hackintosch..
