OliveiraJMR Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 Hello. I have a Laptop Asus Z92j with an Intel Core Duo 1.8mhz and 100gb sata disk. After instalation system doesnt boot. I installed correctly all patches and everything but then the system starts to boot and like 10 seconds after, i get a message to shutdown computer, press restart but, bla bla bla... any idea why this appends? This seems to be a common problem, and on a similar thread her or she was instructed to try installing with only the packages you need for your system. I tried that, but haven't yet succeeded. Mr Malicious Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 The best thing to do is boot to the installer and select the whole drive,and partition it to HFS+ this will partition the drive as mbr and will fix the boot issues your having when selecting erase with disk utility.
