fluffy69 Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 hello to all of you, i used to have mac os x 10.4.6 installed with the JaS Updates up to 10.4.8 and everything worked fine. then i thought i would gain speed by upgrading to the new semthex kernel and so i installed "JaS 10.4.8 SSE2/3 AMD/INTEL" onto my machine. everytime the pc trys to boot mac os of the hard-disk i get this error message: hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000 PAE enabled enabling INTEL features standart timeslicing quantum is 10000 us vm_page_bootstrap: 253409 free pages mig_table_max_displ= 71 ENABLING XMM register save/restore and SSE/SSE2 opcodes panic(cpu 0 caller 0x003A8D2F): unable to find driver for this platform: "ACPI" mi system is as follows: CPU: Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ motherboard: MSI 865PE Neo2 with intel 865PE and intel ich5 chipset ram: 1GB DDR graphics: sapphire x1600pro 256mb agp sound: C-Media 9739 A (onboard - AC97 compatible) i already tried the platform=X86PC parameter by typing it as follows platform=X86PC "platform"="X86PC" "platform=X86PC" -platform=X86PC all with no effect. even the safemode with the -s parameter doesn't work. has anyone an idea, on how to get this thing to work? thanks for reading.
