dark4181 Posted January 9, 2007 Share Posted January 9, 2007 as we all know, 10.4 limits the usable RAM in some Mac systems to 3 gigs.. my question is this: will this be rectified with 10.5, allowing notebook and iMac owners to install 4 gigs of RAM or more? Numberzz Posted January 9, 2007 Share Posted January 9, 2007 It is an OS limit. 32 bit OSes can only have 4 GB ram. 64 Bit have unlimited(i think, it may be 128 GB), 128 Bit OSes are unlimited.
