Abysmal
I have a strange problem.. I tried using iChat AV ( with and without the new update ) with someone on a quad G5 and got video but no sound.. the funny thing is that after tinkering around and not changing anything we switched the G5 for a powerbook and everything worked great.. He also used the G5 to connect to others with no problems.. So basicly my Hackintosh ( Intel D945NT / JaS 10.4.7 updated to 10.4.8 original kernel using iSight ) won't work with a G5 Mac.. Anyone else run into this or have any type of explanation behind it.. All softwares where updated, all inputs checked, sound all worked outside of iChat and no filtering was being done ( Little Snitch Turned off on both machines ).. macmaniac
Hmmm. I have run into this too, but with AV iChat with a Mac Mini. First, I had the no sound thing. Tried later on and got various error messages (no response - even though they did/insufficient bandwidth - on highspeed), and just wouldn't connect. I believe it to be a Hackintosh/iSight issue.... Anybody have issues and then solve? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38031-ichat-av-problems/#findComment-276787 Share on other sites
