Ok, my computer has a Asus Buckeye p965/g965 motherboard with a E6300 C2D.(According to CPU-Z) When I first popped in the 10.4.6 Jas DVD I get something about my SATA Drive. So I went into the Bios and changed the SATA from RAID to IDE, fixing that problem. Then the next thing it said something about the cpu, cpus=1 fixed that. Now it's stuck at ACPI: System State [s0 S3 S4 S5] (S3) and I have no idea what is wrong. If anybody could help me it would be most appriciated. By the way I am currently dl'ing the new Jas 10.4.8 DVD. Would this help, or would this do nothing? Thanks a lot to whoever helps.

Did you try different bios settings, does it say the same thing every time you try to install??

Did you see this thread or search around the forum before complaining about not getting a response?

you could try to flash your BIOS with an ASUS release for the retail mobo version, instead of the OEM BIOS which probably hides some settings.

Also, some BIOS have hidden settings which get displayed when pressing a key combo like CTRL+F1 wwhen you're in your BIOS...
