Mario Ferreira
Hi, When installing OSX x86 from a DVD, I vwent into disk utilities, selected the wrong disk (Windos XP one) and clicked erase. I think that the partition was the only thing erased, but I will be able to recover my data with Esy Recovery, but... is there some way to recover the partition? Thanks for your help. richtig
Try the Acronis bootable CD. It worked to recover a partition for me, once.

You can use the partition editor ptedit32.exe (for windows) or ptedit.exe (for dos) from Partition Magic 8. If your partition is FAT16 write Type as 06. If your partition is FAT32 write Type as 07. If its bootable, write Boot as 80. If its not bootable, write Boot as 00. I used this method to recover an OSX partition, so I chose Type as AF. Good luck
