coolfish
After I installed the "10.4.8 ATI Radeonx1x00.agp.support.pkg" from the new Jas 10.4.8 DVD (AMD SEE2 SEE3) and reboot, I got a message shows below. "System Extension connot be used The system extension "system/library/extensions/ATINDRV.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update." I tried to reinstall it and reboot. It was the same. But I find my mobility ati x1300 can be identified with OS, and QE supported. Does someone get any ideas, please? thanks! peekay_us
There's another (older) version of installer that might work better: http://www.necnet.de/krass.man/Installers/...0Installer.html if you want to uninstall the natit version use the uninstallscript (located at your HDD root) to remove this patch: go into single user mode (boot with -s option) and type: /sbin/fsck -fy /sbin/mount -uw / sh ./uninstallscript Peekay Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37829-install-with-ati-radeonx1x00agpsupport-problem/#findComment-269935 Share on other sites

c31
That's great news. I'm sure there are a ton of us ATI Mobility users who are very grateful that you're working on a driver.
