I installed 10.4.8 with the new JaS DVD and everything went well. But wen i restarted the computer (after the install) the apple logo and the spinny thing appeared and after 10 seconds a giant 'shut down button' appeared with a message in 4 different languages: 'Please shut down your computer by pressing the power button several seconds or pressing the restard button.' I get that message every time when i boot my computer up.

How can i solve this?

It's a kernel panic.

Boot with -v flag to see the detailed reason.

Press F8 at boot for boot options.

Damn, i guess that means that it will be very hard to solve this and get my system working?

I need that computer right now, so i'm allready installing 10.4.6. (Because when i made my xp partition active i got the error 'unable to lauch os' i think and hope this will solved when 10.4.6 is back on my system because i need some files on XP)
