brockwitting Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 I just installed the new AMD 10.4.8 DVD from TPB, and after a few hours of screwing, its PERFECT! I just wanted to thank everyone here who has helped me in the past, and explain what i have. CPU: AMD Athlon FX-55 (NO SSE3) MB: Asus A8n32-Sli Deluxe GF: Geforce 7800GTX Ram :2GB OCZ Platinum What works: Graphics card. Full support out of the box, I just selected to install the NV40 kexts at the installer prompt. Sound (dosent show up in System Profiler, yet it works great, with no glitches) Ethernet (Took some work but works thanks to Forcedeth driver) cd/DVD burning capibilities What doesnt work: NOTHIN!!!! Although all of my hardware functions properly, I cant get Parelles or FrontRow to work. Any suggestions? Great site guys. Props to Jas, and the Kernel designer himself!
