dewdrinker19
I am having a similar issue. When I go into the other OS it sets the clock off by like 5 or 6 hours. Strange. It's intersting to hear I am not the only one with this problem. Sentertainment
The BIOS does a general time set...it may have to do with time storage settings each each...look up GMT and see read up about it! vigilante
I have the same problem too. So i installed atomic sync on windows. Weird though that it doesn't occur all the time. Sometimes the time is fine. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3772-sysem-time-always-be-reset/#findComment-24469 Share on other sites
macgirl
Windows does not treat the RTC with UTC time, Mac OS X does. So you can put your time zone in Mac OS to GMT and disable "Set date & time automatically" and Windows with your real time zone. Danniall
I think I may have found a workaround for dual booting machines getting their time tweaked. Go ahead and set your time zone correctly. On the Date & Time properties, enable set date & time automatically. Set the time server to time.nist.gov This has worked for me. Let me know if it works for you.
