retroz Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 Ok, at first I thought it was the nntp vs web content. I pay for a premium service. Using the web, files are still there. Using a PC (non mac) and Forte Free Agent FILES are STILL there. Using Unision, in less than a week or two I can get a message when trying to D/L "sorry, file not found"....so it is a Unision problem. I then go via the web or PC and sure enough, of course the files are there. Is there an alternative ,trial MAC UB software I can try? sg Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 i've always found it to be the best NNTP client out there. try changing the options and setting it to download headers for more files than the default. if you're getting binaries you probably want it to several thousand headers instead of the default 1-2k i think. or you could always e-mail their support, they're really good about it and usually get back to you with a fix the same day.
