Biostar NF325-A7 (nforce3) A64 3400+ (SSE3) Running 10.4.8 (Beta8) So I just got my hands on a 7800OC AGP (upgrade from a 9800Pro) and was able to sucessfully get QE/CI enabled with Natit and AGPgart, but i just started noticing today that my sound will randomly stop working. I can be playing itunes (or DVD player), stop it for some reason, then try to hit play again, and then...no sound? I have found that I can re-start the sound by re-launching Finder. But I'd rather get to the bottom of the problem instead of having to constantly re-launch finder. ANyone having the same type of problem? Any ideas as to what the problem is? cberthe Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 I have exactly the same problem ... sound is working for a while and when i live and my screen goes to sleeping mode after living sleeping mode no sound anymore. I have a nforce 4 with A64 3200+ and Geforce 6200TC QE/Ci enabled. mythin Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 I have the same exact problem, I really noticed it after switching from the Titan kext to natit kext. I dont know why it happened, but it did. What works for me, when my sounds goes out is this: Open itunes up, play a song, if you hear no sound, apple+q (quit the program). Re-open it and play a song again. keep doing it, What i noticed is that my sound starts working usually after the 3rd or 4th time ive quit and reopened itunes and tried to play a song.
