MacRaph Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 Hello there. My first post after days reading thousands of posts to install 10.4.6 on my old PC. So, I have installed Jas10.4.6 SSE2 on my P4 and it's working great. Ethernet, audio, etc. But I need to use Photoshop CS3 on it and it runs only on 10.4.8. I discovered that my P4 has SSE2 and SSE3 but I want to use SSE3 as I read that Pro Apps runs better on it, is it correct? So, the question is: Is it possible to install the Intel Only SSE3 Combo from Jas on top of my 10.4.6 SSE2? And does the SSE3 really runs better than SSE2? Here is my Processor Info: Thanks, R.
