joe75
Roll Back the driver and see if there's improvements, read the channel logs and make sure there are improvements for your card before updating next time. Unless you see specific fixes, most new drivers are focused on new or current cards and sometimes you're better off with an older driver. br0adband
well, i did that, but i don't know which driver worked for me any place to download the old drivers? www.guru3d.com would probably be the best source for old Nvidia drivers. It looks, according to that screenshot, like simple texture issues. You can try adjusting some of the parameters in the Display Properties for Nvidia and see if you can't disable the S3C texture compression; that might or might not help. bb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37445-help-opengl-or-3d-problem/#findComment-266785 Share on other sites

But the strange thing is that that 'bug' only happens when i play ET, when I play gta sa, wow, nfsu most wanted, flat out 2, this error doesn't happen. br0adband
That's normal, in a lot of respects, where just one particular game has a glitch like that. If you look at a bunch of older video drivers in sequence, and you see the readme or change logs from each one in progression, the most work is done on improving the compatibility and performance with specific games and not just making the video card faster overall. With each new changelog you will probably notice new games being added to it, any performance improvements in those games, as well as games that they might be working with to resolve issues - like your texture ones with ET. In time they might resolve it, but then again they might not. All you can do is hope for the best. Write Nvidia an email and explain what's happening. Who knows, they might be able to offer some assistance. bb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37445-help-opengl-or-3d-problem/#findComment-267802 Share on other sites
