kaurxxl Posted December 31, 2006 Share Posted December 31, 2006 (edited) I downloaded Mac OSX 10.4.8 AMD Final and installed it on my HP Pavilion DV5074ea. And i had few problems. First I don't know how to get widescreen resolution (1280*800). Second - After I Finished installing wireless network worked fine but when rebooted it it was gone and I didnt know how to get wireless working again. Third - Dock was kinda stuck ... this means that when I went over it icons didn't go bigger. (Everything else about dock was working) //////////// I have one more small question. I haven't tryed or anything but is there possible to get S-Video TV-Out and SD card reader working? I'm running on windows xp atm so I cant try these. (Dident get first two things working and formated and installed windows.) PsychoSync Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 That is strange, my dock now has the same problem?! Icon names in dock do not appear and dock does not magnify?! But the dock works fine... And when i go to any window menu or apple menu, the blue bar on the text doesn't show. kaurxxl Posted January 5, 2007 Author Share Posted January 5, 2007 Now I installed OS X again and Dock is perfect. Everything else is also working. (magnification, names do appear) Also I found out that there is some drivers for my video card to get 1280*800 working. (haven't tryed yet.) Now the last question wich still reamains is that how to get wireless working. Anyway ... when I first booted into OS X there were wireless menu ... and I first got in OSX Network was working. It was useing DHCP ... and it looked like i'm conected whit wire/network cabel ... and then I had to reeboot my laptop because I updated QuickTime and iTunes. Afther that network is gone and I don't know how to get it back. I know that it is because i'm total idiot at OS X ... but if anyone can help, please do. Let's hope that there weren't alot spelling mistakes.
