PD2: salutes from chile

Sound card probably will not work. The video card at best will have resolution changing, but no QE/CI (quite important). There might be a "stuttering" effect with that processor, not sure if that got fixed or not.

I'm reading about the ATI SB400 (SOUND CARD) and works (not 100%) ......... but i don't find information about de SB600..........

Yeah I have a 1501 (The single core AMD model, Turion MK-36)

I tried the 10.4.8 Tub Girl and the 10.4.6 JaS DVD and no luck with either. If anyone has this laptop, or thinks they have a solution to how to get it to run on this laptop, please PM me. Thanks.

OK, since I know I'm repetitively trying this - I've tried a few different installs, and I don't think we're going to be able to just boot off the dvd and install. I've gone through the vmware to native instructions and then after that am trying to boot natively through chain0.

After boot natively I get waiting for root device. I've tried the ati kext with no luck, even after modifying the files to refer to my controller, ie: 0X43801002

I think the controller is SATA, and the other drivers to BS things are for PATA. The controller is an ati, the hard drive is samsung.

I've pretty much run out of things to try at the moment, just banging my head on it.
