Hey!

Maybe this is one in a million of the same topic,

but I tried a couple of things now and didn't get anything to work

(as I posted in this topic)

I have an Pentium 4 CPU (Socket 478) which is only supporting SSE2 as I found out today....

...other system information are posted in the topic linked above.

I'm still trying with "JaS 10.4.8 SSE3 Intel Only"

...and I still don't see more than the menu..... :\

VMWare was used, too......nothing - same here......;)

I'm hoping you can help me..... thank you.

Don't waste your time with 10.4.8 JaS DVD on a SSE2 CPU. The current 10.4.8 release from JaS is only for SSE3. It simply won't work. A SSE2 - ready DVD from JaS is expected to be out very soon.

Hey,

I got the 10.4.7 JaS SSE2 Intel/AMD yesterday

and finally was able to install it in VMWare without problems.

If I try to boot OSX in VMWare, now, it tells me the following:

"The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. will need to power off or reset the virtual machine at this point."

....and I did - nothing.....then I googled.....

I activated PAE in the virtual machine's config and it didn't work...

So....it's a SSE2-problem?! But why did I get that DVD, then?!

Can u help?!
