Just thought I'd alert you to one of the applications I am developing

which is Universal. You can download it from my blog,

http://grabberslasher.no-ip.com/weblog/steven/ or the most recent

compile from http://rapidshare.de/files/6572270/Nuker.zip.html

Basically it's an application that can "nuke" windows computers over

the inter/intranet provided they aren't updated to the latest patches.

On Windows 95/NT it produces a Blue Screen of Death on the target, on

XP it shuts down after 30 seconds and alerts the user.

My other applications are all universal too, but Nuker is the only

publically available (and nearly finished) applciation. Possibly a bit

of fun for Mactel owners.

Does this serve any productivity purpose? Or does this only cause headaches for unsuspecting people on the internet? It is nice to see developers contributing to the community, but this is one application I personally have no use for. I think you have much greater abilities (much more than I do) to do good things rather than code unproductive applications.

To clarify, this application doesn't work against XP machines patched to SP 1 or 2, so in that respect it's more for messing with a friends laptop over a school network, etc.

I haven't been able to try this across the internet, and I doubt it would work. It's more for local "fun".

Also, this application was built using 10.4.3 so you'll need a patch to run it on 10.4.1.
