hid2hci does work with vista!

I was also have issues with BT on my MBP 17 CoreDuo with it never keeping the pairing of my Keyboard (although I think the mouse worked - no wheel though). It was causing me no end of grief - everytime my screen saver would start it would drop the pairing and never store it. Accidentaly I found that when I booted over to OSX and paired them there - it seemed to stick in Vista. So since that fateful day I haven't had to pair my KB or Mouse again - and once Vista boots I click on a short cut to "C:\Windows\hid2hci.exe 05ac 1000" and it then gives me all the extras of my KB + Mouse (wheel, media keys etc..).

I have to kick the BT everytime I start up but even before it is 'kicked' the kb will work for entering my password.

95% there as far as bluetooth in Vista goes.

tnks i've partially solved the problem using widcomm driver, now it works even after restart.

i put hid2hci in automatic execution , this trick solve the problem but keyboard and mouse start working 2 minutes after startup.

if u have any ideas to improve performance ...
