rollcage
Simply put, it's a file that is created by OSX when you put your machine to sleep. The file contains the contents of your RAM at the moment the machine was put to sleep. If you look, the sleepimage file should be the same size as your RAM. rollcage
yeah, i searched it on google and got that link, is it good to turn it on, safe sleep It depends on what your setup is. For a desktop, you probably don't need safe sleep because your going to have power at pretty much all times. With a notebook, you should probably keep it on. Using safe sleep is going to take up room on your hard disk equal to the size of your RAM. It is also going to take longer to go into safe sleep compared to regular sleep because all you RAM must be written onto the HD. On the plus side, if the power goes out/battery goes dead, you'll be able to resume normally.
