Guest OSx86er
I was just wondering anyone has any ideas on how to get iDVD to work in x86? I loaded it and it comes back and says that I dont have the hardware. I ran the Burner patch so my burner says it is supported now but I still get same error.. any ideas? Youbecha
In the 'for what it is worth' category, I put the iDVD5 patch from Jeff's Mac Support Website. I don't get the warnings, it starts up...but when I go to create a project, it opens up the program for a few seconds...then closes down. Is there a way to see what is causing the shutdown? I get no warnings, just the shutdown...it could be due to low storage space, or anything... borisbadenov
YEs, I have been plugging away at this topic for a while now. I found an easy, wll, fairly easy solution. First, I uninstalled iDVD, then kind of followed the ideas put fprth in this message about Final Cut: http://fo rum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=2175&hl=final+cut. Then, once iDVD was reinstalled, rightclick the iDvd icon to "Get Info". Under Plug-ins, I checked off the last one regarding wireless. AFter that, Presto! Working iDVD5 in my Mactel.
