fajoff
I boot off the 10.4.6 myz DVD and I just get the gray apple logo screen with the spinner. I sat for like 8mins and then gave up and came here to post. And while I was waiting 8 mins the DVD drive sounded like it was doing something intelligent. any ideas other than "you have a bad DVD"? happy holidays Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36849-osx-setup-just-gives-a-spinner-forever/ Share on other sites

Rammjet
It can take longer than 8 minutes. Give it a good 30 minutes, particularly if the DVD drive and the hard drive are still active.
