Rammjet
and after 1 minute a little image Is the little image a "not" symbol (a circle with a slash through it)? During the installation, what packages did you select in the Customize window right before clicking the Install button? http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=6330 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36720-help-1048-on-core-duo/#findComment-261365 Share on other sites

Rammjet
Right before clicking the Install button, there is a button named Customize to the left of the Install button. Click it. Then click the little arrows to reveal the individual packages. Choose only packages that your computer can use. See the picture I linked above. Rammjet
Do not install the USB fix, it can break your USB rather than fix it. If your keyboard and mouse are USB, then you should be set. If not, try setting USB to legacy mode in BIOS. If you are using a PS/2 keyboard and USB mouse, then OSX doesn't like this mixed environment. Either add a PS/2 mouse and reboot (yes 2 mice) and then the USB mouse will work, or, use only a combination of PS/2 keyboard and mouse or USB keyboard and mouse. After you get finished with the installation and booted to the Desktop, you can find some other keyboard/mouse solutions in the Keyboard link in my signature.
