Darwinian Dude
Have only had a quick chance to test, but... from clicking the 'power on' button on the virtual PC, Parallels boots XP in 19 seconds. (desktop loaded, startup sound finished) VMWare takes 44 seconds. probably their debug code, but still. i won't be buying/using VMWare until i see i major reason to. Have used it in the past on other platforms and loved it though. I think Parallels have done a great job, and I bought it straight away when it came out and although i don't use it much because i have OSX and for games i still have to use bootcamp, Parallels is quick and snappy and I just love the fact that they have kept on releasing pretty major new features (coherance, drag & drop, mac CMD+X key shortcuts, bootcamp partition useage) all the time. Great company! But VMware has been in the market longer and should be able to overtake them, but i don't know.
