chung1107 Posted December 22, 2006 Share Posted December 22, 2006 I had download the Mac OS X Update 10.4.7 Intel from apple web-site, but when I install that update patch, the status bar running to "optimizing performance...." to 50%, until 50% that seems stop here and like hang the OS (only mouse arrow can move, but nothing can do when click anywhere on decktop), I can only reset my computer, however, when restarted, I can't launch MAC OS, it's only restart again and again..... Now, I afraid to installing any update patch. my computer spec. Rammjet Posted December 22, 2006 Share Posted December 22, 2006 NEVER install unpatched OS software like updates from Apple or from the Software Update. You installed a patched version of OSX for PC's and all updates must be patched. Other Apple software is generally OK, but read the board before installing to find any problems.
