Magoo Posted December 21, 2006 Share Posted December 21, 2006 Hi, had the same story. I have installed now only the sse3 patch(E6600) and the combo update. I'm useing the asrock 945 DVi with GMA 950. Rammjet Posted December 22, 2006 Share Posted December 22, 2006 If I remember correctly, the GMA950 package has a few problems installing. Try these things: 1. While in OSX, insert the install DVD and let it mount on the Desktop. Open the DVD image and go to: /System/Installation/Packages. Find the GMA950 package and double-click on it. Repair permissions and remove the Extensions.mkext and Extensions.kextcache files before rebooting. 2. If that doesn't work, mount the DVD again and use Pacifist (Google it from Charlessoft) to open the GMA950 package. Select all of the files and click the Install button in the toolbar. Repair permissions and remove the 2 files before rebooting.
