Cacicia Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 I've just installed MacOS X using the generic install DVD. After the installation the stystem hangs up in a generic kernel panic. Am I missing somenthing? I've searched for topic like this but didn't found anything. Any help?? TIA PS: gonna try to post an image... but i get the generic multilanguage KP screen. 39thRonin Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 Try booting into single user mode - e.g. add a -s to the boot: prompt. Remove any ATI kexts in /System/Library/Extensions.
