deena
Hi there folks and rammjet, After trying over and over again, I finally installed 10.4.6 on my Acer core 2 duo laptop. I had problems with booting as the partition was not active. I read Rammjet's excellent help here in the forums and followed the instructions and made the f1 partition active. Now i took the dvd and rebooted the machine and it started up and went to the boot window ("Starting Mac os x") and it's stuck there at the moment. The progress bar is just sitting there and won't move further. Can someone please please help how do I get further from here? Any help is MUCH appreciated. Cheers guys Edited December 20, 2006 by D I N E S H Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36327-os-x-installed-but-wont-go-past-the-installer-window-after-reboot/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
What packages did you choose in the Customize window during installation? http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4249 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36327-os-x-installed-but-wont-go-past-the-installer-window-after-reboot/#findComment-258492 Share on other sites
