Hi everyone,

I am new here and excited to learn more about Hackintosh setups. I have been curious about running macOS on custom PC hardware but I am a bit unsure about where to start safely and efficiently.

Some questions I have:

  • How do you choose the right motherboard and CPU for compatibility?
  • Are there any beginner-friendly tools or guides to create a bootable macOS installer?
  • What are the common mistakes first-time installers make, and how can I avoid them?

I would love to hear your tips, experiences, and any resources you recommend. I want to understand the technical side without accidentally breaking anything mixichat omegle

Thanks in advance for helping a newbie get started.

There are many guides, tutorials and tools to create Hackintosh. I won't list them as not mine.

You already have a working computer or you are going to build new one? Laptop or desktop?

Almost all desktops are reliable to install macOS on it. Just choose a compatible graphics card.

What macOS version do you want? Latest is Tahoe. And then you have to check if your hardware is compatible with Tahoe.

If you take older macOS then common mistake is BIOS date.
