I found that my MacBook Pro Slowed down a little since i got it, I did the Disk-Repair / Optimization in OnyX and tried other usual things till i did this to fix it.

I updated pre-binding (should not have had to do this) and removed all but needed languages and architectures using monolingual (dont think this made a difference, but hey freed 2.6 gig)

boot time is fast , other apps are faster and safari now opens in 1 bounce again

PPC apps dont open no more but heck sice PS3 i dont need none :P i can live without word...

anyone got anymore speed tips for OS X and the MacBook Pro

Munky - I agee. I did something like this a while ago and settled on using Tinkertool System http://www.bresink.de/osx/TinkerToolSys.html as it allowed me to specify which apps got stripped. The result was quite nice, and I got to pick apps that I wanted to speed up rather than taking the bulk approach.

BTW, the Tinkertool system is a really great piece of software (and I have NO connection with the company at all - just a happy user)
