deeveedee
Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.7.4. Download full installer here. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Fast and easy update from Sequoia 15.7.3 to 15.7.4. In my case, I'm using Intel Wi-Fi with itlwm, so no root patches. 5 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362364-release-macos-sequoia-1574/ Share on other sites

kgp
I am now the lucky winner of two flawlessly working macOS Tahoe 26.3 system partitions, both fully populated with all my applications. By pure accident, at 1 a.m., I updated my Sequoia system partition to 26.3 instead of 15.7.4 — officially bringing the Sequoia era on my multi-boot system to an unexpected end. No regrets though: Tahoe behaves on my system indistinguishably from 15.7.4, just with a higher version number and fewer trees. . The screenshot below shows a fresh and clean install of macOS Sequoia 15.7.4 on an external USB SSD, now demoted to test-drive duty only. Sequoia is still my "production" macOS, since XCode is still getting the latest updates in Sequoia, but I will be perfectly comfortable with migrating my production volumes to Tahoe when Tahoe is required for continued XCode updates. I'm very pleased with Tahoe on all of my hacks and am glad that we persisted and persevered through the Tahoe growing pains. Tahoe seems like a very fitting conclusion to our hackintosh journey. I also accidentally updated my Sequoia system partition to 26.0 instead of installing Tahoe 26.0 on a separate partition. Now I've updated to 26.3 and I don't see anything wrong with it. Everything works fine, and I had to apply the root patch anyway. However, I still have macOS Ventura 13.7.8 (22H730). 😉 Edited February 12 by MakAsrock 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362364-release-macos-sequoia-1574/#findComment-2847333 Share on other sites
Stefanalmare
Hello! In all my hacks that do not require any other patches besides wifi and sound, Tahoe moves very well, it even gives me the feeling that it is more fluid than Sequoia. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362364-release-macos-sequoia-1574/#findComment-2847353 Share on other sites

bluenote56
Hi. I must confess I gave up on Tahoe since there's no working OCLP till now for it. I don't want to spend a lot of money for a different gpu for now since of course I should buy one that performs better than mine. I'll stay on Sequoia which works like a charm and if OCLP for Tahoe should ever come out I'll be back on it.
