Alex Angno
Is it possible to run Mac OS on an i3 9100f Coffee Lake, MSI Z270a Pro LGA1151 , RX560 (Device ID 67ff)? I modified the motherboard's BIOS and added the microcode to the BIOS for the i3 9100f. Windows 11 now runs on this hardware. XanthraX
It works. Both, i3 Coffeelake and RX560 work including in Tahoe. But I don't know your motherboard. So look for someone who has the same motherboard like you. strangeron
Try with the attached EFI. Installation is possible, including for Sequoia. For Tahoe, you need to edit UTPMap.kex. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Nrn7pyPZGhOHtCVHc3Gs0f9oP6rHfNX7/view?usp=sharing Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362136-i3-9100fmsi-z270a-prorx560/#findComment-2845421 Share on other sites
Alex Angno
I created an EFI folder using OpCore Simplify. Catalina 10.15.7 works with it, but my Sapphire RX 560 (device ID 1002 67FF) won't start. Screenshots are attached(GFX0,gfxutil). Only 7 MB. I have a drive with Sonoma 14.8.3 installed, but with this EFI folder, it won't start. It panics and reboots immediately. The error message can't be found in the log. FirstCustomac
@Alex Angno You might want to post your EFI or config.plist here so others can take a loot at it. Alex Angno
I reinstalled Sonoma from a bootable USB drive, and now the graphics work and are detected as expected.I request the moderator to delete this thread; I've solved the problem.
